Located in the vibrant city of Cadillac, MI, WMISD serves as an educational hub, supporting a diverse range of school districts across our counties. We offer a wide spectrum of services, including Special Education, General Education, Career and Technical Education, Technology, and Business Services, all designed to meet the unique needs of our local districts. We are proud to collaborate with school districts such as Cadillac, Lake City, Manton, Marion, McBain, Mesick, and Pine River, as well as the various parochial/private schools within our service area.

As the saying goes, “It takes a community to raise a child.” We firmly believe in the power of collective effort. Together, we must ensure that our youth develop strong literacy, math, technical and social skills while being supported in making informed decisions about their future career paths. Through collaboration, our education system thrives, enriching the lives of students, educators, and families alike.

At WMISD, our mission is clear: to enrich our communities by providing comprehensive educational services and innovative programming that empower both local school districts and students. We are committed to addressing the needs of all learners, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to succeed.

We encourage you to explore our organization and programs through the various links provided. Your engagement is vital to our shared success. If you have any questions or would like to provide feedback, please feel free to contact me.
